| The piano is probably the most complex of
all musical instruments, with more than 500 working parts in the action
alone and over 230 strings. Tuning it correctly takes a great deal of
time (usually 60-90 minutes) and expertise. A piano should be tuned at
least once a year. Generally this will keep the instrument in good working
condition. Occasionally your piano may need a minor repair. These repairs
can usually be done in the home at the same time your piano is being tuned.
Your piano can bring you and your family a lifetime of music, and add immeasurable joy and beauty to your home.
Because it also is such a large investment, it should be maintained with the utmost care. Piano tuning and servicing is a very complicated process that takes a lot of training
and skill to do it right. I have been tuning pianos for over 18 years. Please call today to schedule your tuning or to ask about the other services available.
